Freeland's Mount was inherited by William Allender from his father, Thomas, in 1790 and sold in 1790 to William Morgan. This indenture is for Dower rights to Freeland's Mount sold in 1794 by Anna Allender, widow of William Allender, to William Morgan.

This indenture made this twenty sixth day of February in the year of our Lord, seventeen hundred and ninety four between Ann Allinder adminstratrix of William Allinder Dec’d of Harford County state of Maryland of the one part and William Morgan of the county and state aforesaid of the other part. Witneseth that the said Ann Allinder for the sum of sixty pounds specie to her in hand paid by the said William Morgan the receipt thereof she doth hereby acknowledge and herself thereof full satisfied contented and paid hath given granted bargained and sold and by these presents doth give grant bargain sell alien release wipe off and confirm unto the said William Morgan his heirs and assigns all her rights of Dower in and to a certain part of that land known by the name of Freeland’s Mount laying on the north side of Deer Creek in the county and state of the aforesaid whereon William Allinder Dec’d formerly lived containing 50 acres more or less to have and to hold this said right of Dower in and to the aforesaid land and premises with the appurtenances herein or hereby granted or intended and sold and every part and parcel thereof unto the said William Morgan his heirs and assigns to the only proper use and behoof of him the said William Morgan his heirs and assigns forever and the said Ann Allinder for herself at the reasonable request of the said William Morgan his heirs executors administrators do assign make do bequeath perform and perfect every other more perfect deed or deeds conveyance or conveyances for that further confirming the said right of Dower in and to said tract or parcel of land and premises with the appurtenances to the said William Morgan his heirs and assigns for ever.

Be it remembered that on the twenty sixth day of February seventeen hundred & ninety four came before us two of the Justices of Peace of Harford County appeared Ann Allinder and acknowledged the herein Deed and the right of Dower thereby bargained and sold to the right title and estate of the written named William Morgan his heirs and assigns for ever.
