Last Will and Testament of Nicolas Allender
I, Nicholas Allender of Baltimore County, Maryland, do make this my Last Will and, in the manner following, that is to say: I give, bequest and devise to my wife, Abarilla Allender all my Personal Property and Effects, to her the said Abarilla, absolutely and at her disposal.
To my son William R. Allender that portion of my Real Estate lying on the left hand side of the Public Road leading from the old Joppa road to Henry Recons (?) saw mill, on the Little Gunpowder Falls, said portion being separate from the rest of my Real Estate, and [T]heir Heirs forever,
To my two son's Nicholas Bowen Allender, and Montseville J. Allender, the Rest and Residue of my Real Estate, on the following conditions, the said Nicholas Bowen to have the left hand side of Said Real Estate, Beginning for the same at the lane on the Public Load, thence to bars at the end of the wagon House, then to take bed of the spring Road to the spring House, in at one window and out at the other, thus dividing the spring House in two parts, or giving each one, one half of said spring House, thence in a straight line to a Flint Stone set up at the divisional fence between my land and Henry Myers, and Their Heirs forever, all the said Real Estate I give bequeath and devise as above named.
In Witness whereof I the above named testator, have unto set my hand seal, the Twentieth day of July, Eighteen Hundred and eighty Five, (signed) Nicholas Allender (seal)
Then and there signed, sealed, and published by Nicholas Allender, the testator, and as for his last Will, in the presence of us, who at his request in his presence, and in presence of each other, have hereto set our names as witnesses,
