- The Nicholas who goes to Ohio makes alot of land deals 1799-1803 then disappears from the records in Maryland, he would probably been about 18 putting him born 1781, which also makes him the right age in Ohio, not sure who his parents are but he [may be the Nicholas] in two land deals regarding an Aquila Paca [which is available, looked at, but is unrevealing] ---ahjua
It is thought that this Nicholas Allinder (b. abt 1776, Maryland), could be a son of a John (d. 1757) But this Nicholas is not in the household of the John (b. 1757) on either the 1790 or 1800 Census for Harford. On the 1790 census, that John (b. 1757) of Harford, Maryland, with a wife, has 2 female under 10. On the 1800 Census, one of the 1790 females under 10 must have died, and now there are the four children in that household, 3 male and 1 female, all under the age of ten, with parents: John, age 26-44, and his wife, age 26-44. So John's household does not fit for Nicholas, even though, Nicholas in having a daughter named Lucinda evidences a namesake relationship for a line going back to Lucina. But if not the grandson of Lucina through her sons John or Nicholas (he died in 1797) then perhaps through William (b. 1750) who has been tentatively identified also as a son of Lucina.
With no 1810 Census extant for Ohio, identification of Nicholas becomes more problematic, but perhaps he can be yet traced through the aforementioned land deals and the ones in Ohio for 1803-1806.
This Nicholas (b. abt 1776, Maryland) is shown on the 1820 Census for Belmont County, living on this land near William (b. 1750) with his name spelled Allinder, a spelling that is consistent with how the name is spelled on the Harford County documents. He is age 45+ , and shown with him is 1 female age 26-44. She is Mary Unnamed, and from the age of her youngest son on the 1850 Census we can compute her age to be 42. With them are 1 male under 10, who would be their son Joseph, age 5, and 1 male 10-16, who could be their son Robert, age 16 (an age that should be closer to 18, according to the later censues), 2 female under 10, one would be Charlotte, age 7, and 3 female 10-15. On the 1860 Census, Charlotte, married to George Hays, gives her age as 47, so it appears she is the youngest of the daughters.
On the 1830 Census for Belmont, Nicholas, is age 50-60, wife is 40-50 (Mary, age 52), they have 2 male under 5 (could be their grandsons), 1 male 5-10 (son Richard, age 8), 1 male 15-20 (son Joseph, age 15), 1 male 30-30 (son Robert, age 28), 1 female 15-20 (Charlotte age 17), and 3 female 20-30, presumably, one is wife of Robert. So three of Charlotte's older sisters may yet be unmarried.

Richard Allender and Hannah are on the deed records with the Jonathon Watson. Richard is probably sibling of Margaret, since that land went to George Lashley (?)
OK pull out everything on Bedford County Pennsylvania: Allenders' John from there bought the land that Wm and Nicholas originally bought --i havent read thru it but they are all named [with] I think Richard Allender --ahuja
