My mother's maiden name if Allender. We're descended from William Allender, 1640-1698, born in England. We'd like to find out more of his history.

I'm researching my husbands family history. His line comes from William Wallace Allender.

I am called Beth and I am the daughter of R Laird Allender (Mary Kathrine Stinchcomb). My grandfather was Rhodus Allender (Carrie Laird). Rhodus (along with his brother Elden) was in the first class of 4-H under A. B. Graham that was held on 1/15/1902 in Springfield Ohio. Ashby Allender (Georgia Runyan) was my Great-grandfather. Carol Helfrich in a previous message is my sister and we would like to go back even further in our family tree.

I'm an African American Allender in Indiana. My grandfather, Russell Allender, died a couple of years ago, so I've become intrigued once again about our Allender lineage. I also read about the runaway slave, "Allender's Jake" in college, so I'm curious to know if there is any connection.

Daughter of Augustus William Allender born in Geraldton Western Australia 1931, his father was Joseph Forbes Allender born 1899.

Would like to know about Ohio to Indiana Allenders. My 3 great grandfather is George Allender born in Ohio in 1855 and his father was Thomas Allender born in 1912 not sure where but they are all in the 1860 census for Brown County, Indiana. I am researching my Allinder line. My 2nd Great Grandfather was Edmond Thomas Allinder b. 17 Apr 1832 in Todd, Kentucky. d. 2 Dec 1906 in Hopkins, Kentucky. He married Sarah Ann Steen b.9 Jan 1837 in Nebo, Hopkins, KY. d. 12 Jan 1897 in Nebo, Hopkins, Kentucky.

That is as far as I have been able to get with documentation. What I have for his father, mother and siblings has not been proven. I would love to make a connection. Any help is greatly appreciated. I also would love to see what all is on this site.

My tater was Richard Ellsworth Allender, son of Ellswoth Allender- New morefield Ohio. I'm interested in the family history, but do not know much about his fathers family.

My father's mother's mother is Elmira Allender (married Frances Willis), who is in the lineage of George Allender who migrated, with a large nuclear family, to near Arlington,IN from Fleming County, KY in 1826. My present understanding is that George was from what is now West Virginia and whose father was a William Allender purportedly from England. Does anyone have details going back in time from then?

Its pretty nice to see such a large gathering of Allenders. I am the grandson of Harry R. Allender who resided in Michigan. I am just looking for some more information on the Michigan branch of Allenders, trying to learn a little more about my ancestry. I cant seem to register, but would like to if it can be unlocked.
